X-Cart Performance/Speed Optimization

Potential customers aren't going to wait around and wait for your page to load when they can hit the back button on their browser and nearly instantly be put in contact with one of your competitors.  For this reason, it's crucial that your site is quick to respond and load for your customers. Additionally, Google has made speed a factor in search engine ranking.

While x-cart has taken steps to increase speed in recent versions, there is still much improvement to be made.  Our experience within the x-cart framework has allowed us to identify changes at the server and x-cart code levels to increase the speed of your page load times.

Our speed optimization services includes:

• Statistics on before and after page load times
• Benchmarking php and sql queries to identify and correct speed issues

NOTE: If you're running on a budget host, such as 1-and-1, or hostgator, we will require you to upgrade to a better hosting environment before proceeding with on-site speed improvements.  We will work with you to facilitate the host change process. Speed optimizations are available for x-cart 4.1+ or greater only and can sometimes take 2-3 weeks for completion.
