ezUpsell for X-Cart
Newly added to ezUpsell for x-cart:
- Updated Continue and Checkout arrows.
- Functions on both "Buy Now" and "Add to Cart" buttons.
- "Continue" directs to exact previous page, whether it be the home page, search results, product page, category etc.
- Displays upselling products with the same format as product listings complete with "Buy Now" buttons when enabled.
After a customer adds a product to their cart, by default xcart gives you two options: have them remain on the same page, or be pushed directly into their shopping cart. The first option can leave the customer confused as to if the product has been added, while the second can result in lost sales by pushing them into the checkout too quickly. The solution to this problem?... give them the option while upselling them at the same time!
This mod provides a landing page which is displayed once the product has been added to the customers cart.
The landing page includes:
- A notification that the product was successfully added
- A very clear link to continue shopping
- A very clear link to the checkout process
- A listing of the upsell products you've configured for the product in the xcart admin
The landing page is a template file which can be easily edited to add additional information and/or to customize to your needs.

There are few products for X-Cart that deserve the "you'd be a fool to open a store without it..." label, but WebsiteCM has many products that get this rating, including ezUpsell. What a simple, but elegant and rock-solid piece of code! I was always taught that up-selling was "helping your customer find what they want..." what a perfect companion to the X-Cart checkout.

If you are using X-Cart and you are NOT using ezupsell, I can almost guarantee that you are leaving money on the table. We installed the module and IMMEDIATELY saw an uptick in sales. Now, we instruct all of our phone reps to tell us if they ever find a product without upsells.
The intuitive layout, ease of use and other features of ezupsell are simply fantastic, and the price is outstanding.
Most importantly, the SUPPORT we have received from WebsiteCM has been TOP NOTCH.
