Default One Page Checkout (OPC)

I am just developing a re-build for an existing x-cart store to 4.1.8 and working with a new instal of OPC. Going threw check out works fine with tax and shipping info until I login. Then I get a JavaScript window popup saying "There was an error loading the cart totals. Please refresh and try again." Close that and the total part of the page has that gif showing loading in progress and text "Loading Cart Totals ". Of course it load forever.

Might be my cofiguration for shipping or tax but its pretty simple. Under 75 flat rate and over free. Tax just in our state. Anyone have any ideas. Its probably right in front of my eyes but I did not see anything on the usual forums

Cheers,

Bruce

we just installed OPC and it works like a charm - very clear and uncluttered apearance, we are positiv that it will minimize the "confusion" of many customers - thanks for this Add On !
We have one problem and it only shows in Internet Explorer (latest version):
While the OPC switches to https, the little "security lock" doesn't show in the address bar. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

I'm having problem with this mod too. The problem is, after I click on the payment link to make payment on Paypal (we use paypal only), and choose not pay for the order, and return to our site. When I go to the check out page again, it would keep displaying the message below:

There was an error loading the shipping options, please try again. (You may need to refresh your browser.)

I have refreshed the browser (Firefox) many times but the same error keep recurring over and over again. The only way to work around it is to log out from my account, and clear the shopping cart. But surely that's not a good way to get customers to buy something from your store isn't it??

Tom

Default One Page Checkout

Tom did you resolve? Best to contact Bill at altered cart directly. We had the same issue, with a couple of other things, and these were fixed.
