Default Help! I can't find x-cart main customer template

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have an older version of xcart ( version 3.4.9). I've been trying to find the main customer template for 2 days and I can't find it. Can someone please tell me the file name and where I could find it? I looked all over the skins folder. The page I'm talking about is here: http://buffalosbestfood.com/store/customer/home.php

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

skin1/customer/main/welcome.tpl is the template.

The "demo" content you see is located in a language variable. The language variables are held in a database, which can be accessed via your x-cart admin section. Log into your x-cart admin, and click on "Languages." Then select your language i.e. English from the drop-down menu.

Search for: txt_welcome

May I ask, why if you are just to the point of modifying your home page from the demo text with such a deprecated version of x-cart?

Hi,

Thanks for your help. Obviously this is a old version of X-cart that I got a about 2 1/2 years ago. I'm just to cheap to upgrade and I'm not sure If I'm going to continue with X-cart or use a whole new Ecommerce system.

X-Cart offers free life time upgrades, so you should be able to login to your members area and download the latest version with no additional fees.

On the x-cart you are using you will want to at least ensure that you apply security patches that have since been released or you will undoubtably be hacked/exploited.
